IMPORTANT NOTICE: THIS RESPONSIBLE GAMING POLICY IS TO BE READ TOGETHER WITH THE TERMS OF SERVICE, THE OFFICIAL PROMOTIONAL PLAY RULES, THE PRIVACY POLICY AND THE GAME STATEMENT (COLLECTIVELY AS THE "INCORPORATED POLICIES"). BY ACCESSING OR USING OUR SERVICES (AS DEFINED IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE), YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS POLICY AND THE INCORPORATED POLICIES.
Cash Avalanche is a free-to-play social gaming platform operated by Spruce Interactive Inc ("Company"). The services offered through this platform do not constitute gambling, wagering, or any form of real-money betting. Notwithstanding the entertainment-oriented nature of the platform, the Company maintains a steadfast commitment to participant well-being and responsible engagement.
The Company believes that a transparent and comprehensive responsible gaming framework is essential to fostering a safe, enjoyable environment for all participants. This Policy articulates the standards, tools, and safeguards that underpin that commitment.
Throughout this document, references to "participant," "you," or "your" denote any individual who accesses, registers for, or engages with the Cash Avalanche platform in any capacity.
By accessing, registering for, or otherwise utilizing the Cash Avalanche platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms set forth in this Responsible Gaming Policy. This Policy supplements the platform's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and should be interpreted in conjunction with those documents.
The Company provides a suite of participant-controlled instruments designed to help you manage your platform activity proactively. These tools place you in command of your own engagement patterns and financial outlays.
Cash Avalanche empowers every participant to define personal spending constraints that align with their individual comfort level and financial circumstances. These self-imposed deposit limitations serve as proactive safeguards, enabling you to predetermine the maximum amount you wish to allocate toward platform activity within a given timeframe.
Once a deposit constraint is active, the platform will automatically enforce the specified ceiling, preventing deposits that would exceed the threshold you have established.
Participants may select from the following deposit ceiling options to suit their preferred management cadence:
Multiple ceilings may be active simultaneously. Where overlapping constraints exist, the most restrictive applicable ceiling governs at any given moment.
To activate a deposit constraint, send a written request via email to our support team at [email protected]. Your message must include: the type of ceiling desired (daily, weekly, or monthly), the specific monetary amount, and your preferred effective date.
Requests submitted without complete information may experience delays. Please ensure all required details are furnished in your initial communication.
The Company will process and activate your requested constraint within a reasonable timeframe following receipt of a properly submitted request. You will receive confirmation once your ceiling has been successfully applied to your account.
During the interval between submission and confirmed activation, the participant remains solely responsible for monitoring and managing their own deposit activity. The Company assumes no liability for deposits made prior to the effective implementation of a requested constraint.
To adjust or remove an existing deposit ceiling, submit a written request to [email protected]. Decreases to an existing limit are generally processed promptly, as they represent a tightening of protective boundaries.
Requests to increase a limit or remove a constraint entirely may be subject to an extended processing period and additional review. This deliberate delay functions as a protective safeguard, ensuring that changes to participant-set boundaries are carefully considered rather than impulsive.
The Company encourages all participants to adopt the following principles as a foundation for a positive and sustainable relationship with the platform. Responsible engagement is a shared endeavor between the Company and its community.
Interaction with Cash Avalanche should always be regarded purely as a form of recreational entertainment. The platform is not designed to serve as a source of income, an investment vehicle, or a mechanism to recover prior expenditures.
Approach each session with the expectation of enjoyment, not financial gain. Adopting this mindset from the outset is the single most effective foundation for a healthy engagement pattern.
Exercise deliberate governance over both the time and financial resources you devote to the platform. Before commencing each session, establish clear boundaries for duration and spending, and honor those predetermined thresholds without deviation.
Consider utilizing the self-management instruments described in Part G to reinforce your personal commitments with platform-enforced guardrails.
Do not utilize the Cash Avalanche platform as a coping mechanism to avoid personal difficulties, emotional distress, psychological hardship, or everyday stress. Engaging with the platform should complement a balanced life rather than serve as a refuge from it.
Ensure that platform activity remains proportionate within your broader daily routine. Prioritize real-world activities, nurture meaningful relationships, engage in physical exercise, and pursue personal hobbies and professional aspirations alongside any time spent on the platform.
Under no circumstances should engagement with Cash Avalanche interfere with your professional responsibilities, familial commitments, or domestic duties. If platform activity begins to encroach upon these essential areas, it is a clear signal to reassess your usage patterns.
Never access or interact with the platform while under the influence of alcohol, controlled substances, or any mind-altering compounds. Sound judgment is essential for responsible participation, and impaired cognition compromises your ability to make considered decisions.
Discontinue platform use immediately if the experience ceases to be enjoyable, or if participation begins to generate anxiety, stress, frustration, or any form of emotional discomfort. Entertainment that produces negative feelings has ceased to fulfill its intended purpose.
Stepping away from the platform is always an appropriate response when engagement no longer contributes positively to your well-being.
Early identification of problematic patterns is a critical step toward maintaining a healthy relationship with any form of entertainment. The Company urges all participants to periodically and honestly assess their own engagement habits against the indicators described below.
A prominent warning indicator is persistent difficulty regulating the frequency, intensity, or duration of platform engagement. If you find yourself unable to limit sessions to planned timeframes or repeatedly exceeding intended spending, this pattern merits careful self-reflection.
Consider whether you frequently tell yourself "just a few more minutes" or "one more round" beyond your originally planned stopping point. Repeated deviation from self-set boundaries is a meaningful signal.
When platform activity begins assuming disproportionate significance relative to other life pursuits — such as declining social invitations, neglecting personal responsibilities, or organizing your schedule primarily around gaming sessions — this shift in priorities warrants serious attention.
A useful diagnostic question is whether you would feel significant distress or agitation if platform access were suddenly unavailable for an extended period. Disproportionate emotional reactions to the prospect of separation may indicate an unhealthy attachment.
Persisting with platform engagement notwithstanding detrimental consequences across financial, interpersonal, emotional, physical health, or occupational dimensions represents a serious behavioral concern that should not be minimized or rationalized.
If individuals in your personal or professional life have expressed concern about your platform usage, treat their observations as meaningful data points deserving honest consideration.
According to diagnostic standards established by the World Health Organization (WHO), a sustained pattern of the behaviors described above persisting over a period of twelve months or longer may meet the clinical threshold warranting professional evaluation.
If you identify with these patterns, the Company strongly encourages you to seek guidance from a qualified healthcare professional. Part H of this Policy lists external resources that may assist you in locating appropriate support.
Beyond the self-management tools available to participants, the Company independently monitors platform activity to identify and address potentially harmful engagement patterns. The protections described in this Part operate alongside, and in addition to, participant-initiated measures.
The Company employs sophisticated detection systems engineered to identify patterns of excessive or potentially harmful platform engagement. These mechanisms operate continuously across the entire participant base to help safeguard the community.
Detection algorithms are regularly refined and updated to account for evolving behavioral patterns and emerging indicators of concern.
Our monitoring infrastructure tracks multiple engagement dimensions on an ongoing basis, including but not limited to:
Collectively, these data points enable the Company to detect anomalies and emerging patterns indicative of problematic usage before they reach critical severity.
When the Company determines that a participant's behavior presents a risk of harm, it reserves the unilateral right to implement immediate protective measures without prior notice or participant request. Such measures may include:
The Company is under no obligation to provide advance warning or to specify the precise behavioral indicators that triggered intervention. These measures are enacted in the interest of participant welfare.
After any protective intervention has been enacted, the Company maintains ongoing monitoring of the affected account. Reinstatement of full platform privileges following any intervention remains at the Company's sole and absolute discretion, informed by the participant's subsequent behavioral indicators and overall engagement trajectory.
This Part governs the financial and practical consequences of account closure, whether initiated voluntarily by the participant or imposed by the Company. Participants should review these provisions carefully before requesting closure.
Account closure through the Cash Avalanche platform constitutes permanent deletion. A closed account is not placed in a dormant or suspended state; rather, it is irrevocably removed and cannot be recovered, restored, or reinstated under any circumstances.
Participants should fully understand the finality of this action before proceeding. The Company recommends thorough consideration and completion of all desired account activity prior to submitting a closure request.
Notwithstanding account closure, the Company may retain certain data as required or permitted under applicable law, regulatory mandates, fraud prevention protocols, or compliance obligations. Please consult the Cash Avalanche Privacy Policy for comprehensive details regarding data retention practices.
Upon account closure or suspension, all remaining Sweeps Coins (SC) are permanently forfeited. This forfeiture applies regardless of the quantity held, the method by which they were acquired, or the duration of accumulation.
Forfeited SC are not eligible for redemption, transfer to another account, or any form of monetary compensation. No retroactive claims may be submitted following closure.
Gold Coins carry no monetary value whatsoever. Upon closure, all Gold Coins are permanently extinguished. They are not redeemable for cash, not transferable to any other account or individual, and not subject to reinstatement at any future date.
All promotional credits, bonus allocations, loyalty points, and free-play entitlements associated with the closed account are permanently voided at the moment of closure. No residual value attaches to these items following account termination.
In instances involving fraud, abuse, or material misconduct, the Company reserves the right to withhold, confiscate, or reverse any balances, winnings, or credits.
Additionally, the Company may pursue all available legal remedies and report relevant conduct to appropriate law enforcement or regulatory authorities. The Company's rights under this subsection survive account closure indefinitely.
The disposition of any residual balances upon closure is determined at the Company's discretion, taking into consideration the nature and circumstances of the closure, the participant's compliance history, any pending verification processes, and applicable regulatory stipulations.
Participants contemplating voluntary restriction or account closure are strongly encouraged to complete any desired redemptions before submitting their request. The Company cannot guarantee the availability of redemption options after a restriction or closure request has been submitted.
This recommendation applies equally to participants considering self-exclusion under Part F. Once a restriction is in effect, account features including redemption functionality become inaccessible.
Self-exclusion represents the most comprehensive self-management tool available to participants. The Company administers this framework with deliberate rigor to ensure that it provides meaningful protection for individuals who choose to utilize it.
Self-exclusion is a protective mechanism through which participants may voluntarily restrict their own access to the Cash Avalanche platform for a defined period. It is designed for individuals who determine that a structured separation from platform activity would benefit their well-being.
To commence self-exclusion, send a written request via email to [email protected]. Your request must contain the following information: your full legal name, your current residential address, and the email address associated with your Cash Avalanche account.
Incomplete requests may not be processed. Please verify that all required details are included before sending your communication.
The minimum self-exclusion period is three (3) months. Participants may request a longer exclusion period if desired; however, a duration shorter than three months cannot be accommodated under any circumstances.
The three-month minimum exists because research and clinical experience demonstrate that shorter intervals are insufficient to meaningfully interrupt entrenched behavioral patterns.
Once a self-exclusion period is active, it cannot be reversed, shortened, or modified in any manner. This restriction admits no exceptions, regardless of the participant's stated circumstances, rationale, or urgency. The irrevocable nature of the commitment is fundamental to its protective efficacy.
Upon expiration of the self-exclusion period, account access is not automatically restored. The participant must submit an affirmative written request via email to [email protected] to initiate the reactivation process.
Deliberate action is required; passive expiration alone does not reinstate platform privileges. This design ensures that returning to the platform represents a conscious, purposeful choice.
Following receipt of a reactivation request, a mandatory seven-day cooling-off interval is imposed before platform access can be restored. This waiting period ensures that the decision to return is deliberate, measured, and considered rather than reactive or impulsive.
After the seven-day cooling-off interval has elapsed, the participant will receive an email confirmation that their account has been reactivated. Upon reactivation, participants are advised to carefully review all current terms, policies, and platform rules, as updates may have occurred during the exclusion period.
Upon submitting a self-exclusion request, participants must immediately log out of the Cash Avalanche platform on all devices, browsers, and applications. This includes mobile phones, tablets, desktop computers, and any other hardware through which the platform may be accessed.
Continued access attempts during the processing interval undermine the protective intent of the exclusion and may be treated as circumvention under subsection (j) below.
While self-exclusion is in effect, the participant is prohibited from accessing any aspect of the platform, including but not limited to: gameplay, account management, promotional offers, and customer support interactions.
Furthermore, the participant may not create new accounts using the same personal information or any different identifying details. Any attempt to register under alternate credentials during an active exclusion period constitutes a violation of this Policy.
Any attempt to circumvent an active self-exclusion — including creating duplicate accounts, utilizing alternate credentials, or employing proxy servers or VPN services to evade detection — will result in immediate and permanent suspension.
Such suspension is irreversible and not subject to appeal, reconsideration, or review. The severity of this consequence reflects the Company's unwavering commitment to preserving the integrity of the self-exclusion framework.
The Company deploys technical measures to detect duplicate or fraudulent accounts. Any account identified as having been created in contravention of an active self-exclusion will be immediately suspended, and all associated balances, credits, and entitlements will be forfeited without recourse.
A brief processing interval may exist between the submission of a self-exclusion request and its full implementation. Any platform activity occurring during this transitional window remains the participant's sole responsibility. The Company strongly recommends ceasing all activity immediately upon submitting your request.
The following instruments are available to all registered participants. Each tool addresses a different need, and participants are encouraged to select the option that best corresponds to their personal situation.
Participants may establish a daily Sweeps Coins spending threshold. Once the defined limit is reached within a calendar day, further SC utilization is automatically blocked until the threshold resets at the start of the next day.
This tool is well suited for participants who wish to maintain ongoing engagement while exercising firm control over daily expenditure levels.
A temporary suspension allows the participant to step away from the platform for a brief, predefined period. Upon expiration of the designated timeframe, account access is automatically reactivated without the need for any additional action.
This option serves participants who recognize the value of a short interval of separation without requiring the extended commitment associated with formal self-exclusion.
For participants seeking a more extended period of separation, voluntary self-exclusion is available with a minimum commitment of three months. The full terms, procedures, and conditions governing self-exclusion are detailed in Part F of this Policy.
Participants may elect permanent and irrevocable account closure at any time. This action results in the immediate and final disposition of all balances, credits, and accumulated items in accordance with the provisions outlined in Part E of this Policy.
This option is appropriate for individuals who have determined that complete and definitive separation best serves their interests. Once executed, permanent closure cannot be undone.
The Company recognizes that some participants may benefit from professional guidance or informational resources beyond what the platform itself can provide. Seeking external support is a constructive and commendable step, and no stigma should attach to reaching out for assistance.
